Our Vision is to inspire and assist via a multi-agency approach to risks, safety, and emergency planning. IET - UK understands the importance of collaboration and partnership in addressing the challenges faced by our international community. By bringing together various agencies and stakeholders, we aim to create a comprehensive and coordinated response to emergencies and ensure the safety of our international community members.

Drivers In line with the Sustainable Development Goals (2015-2030) and The Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction 2015-2030, IET - UK are committed to supporting local humanitarian needs from our ‘virtual’ organisation. We recognise that disasters and emergencies can have a significant impact on disadvantaged communities, and it is our mission to provide timely and effective assistance in times of crisis.

Mission

  1. International Emergency Team UK (IET - UK) aid aims to provide emergency assistance to disadvantaged communities in readiness for/during crises.
  2. The strategy focuses on addressing the immediate needs of the affected communities. (To transfer knowledge and enable self reliance and awareness).
  3. The aid is aimed at providing essential supplies such as food, water, shelter, and medical assistance.
  4. The strategy emphasises the importance of coordination and collaboration between international organizations, governments, and local communities.
  5. Long-term solutions and sustainable development are considered in the aid strategy to ensure the communities can recover and thrive.
  6. The strategy recognizes the unique challenges faced by disadvantaged communities and aims to provide targeted support to address their specific needs.
  7. Monitoring and evaluation are key components of the strategy to assess the effectiveness of the aid and make necessary adjustments.
