Volunteer for IETUK
We are always on the look out for talented individuals to volunteer for IETUK
Volunteer Code of Conduct
It is essential that individuals who volunteer for the International Emergency Team United Kingdom (IETUK) abide by the following personal expectations:
- Treat all members of the community and fellow volunteers with dignity and respect at all times. Behaviour and conduct must portray IETUK in a positive light.
- Recognise that volunteers are in a position of trust within the community. IETUK volunteers must therefore uphold that trust and maintain confidentiality.
- Adhere to health and safety guidance and general procedures that may be published from time to time.
- Volunteers must not undertake duties whilst under the influence of non-prescribed drugs, alcohol or other substances.
- Volunteers are encouraged to participate in fundraising on behalf of IETUK.
- Not misrepresent IETUK on any social networking sites through the use of any IETUK related material.
- Volunteers should wear only approved clothing. Dress should be appropriate to the circumstances of the activity taking into account health, safety, comfort and respect for the host, culture and or location.
- Report any changes in your personal circumstances that may have any implications which prevent you from continuing to be a volunteer.
- Volunteers must not use IETUK activities or travel for their own personal gain.
