IETUK took the opportunity with the agreement of Punjab Emergency Service Rescue 1122 to review developments, following guidance given in 2014, in a number of practical firefighting disciplines. This involved practical exercises by students in the following areas to demonstrate their skills, knowledge and understanding;

• Firefighting Operations
• Hose Running Operations
• Ladder Operations

In addition to the assurance activity IETUK also provided guidance and technical understanding in support of Punjab Emergency Service Rescue 1122in the fields of Hazardous Materials, Water Rescue, Urban Search and Rescue and Community Safety.
